All events are open to the public and open to participants of all ages unless indicated otherwise. Many of our events will take you to private land and will showcase well-managed, protected habitats of all kinds.

DALC Field Trips

Explore and learn throughout the Driftless landscape -- and bring the kids! Our general field programs are open to all. Grab some walking shoes and come outside with us!

Workshops

These events focus on skills and methods, such as chainsaw safety, building trails, or planting prairies. Learn from regional experts on a variety of topics and prepare your arsenal of knowledge to tackle conservation projects big and small.

Evenings Afield

Join conservationists in the Lowery Creek watershed area to learn from experts and each other how to sustainably manage our land, water, food and energy resources. All are welcome. 

​

Topics for our 2024 season include frogs and toads, controlling invasive plants, prescribed burning, biodiversity in farming, planting prairies, and dark, starry skies.
