Southern Driftless Grasslands Project Manager

Southern Driftless Grasslands (SDG) is a partnership of government agencies, nonprofits, and other stakeholders who actively support the conservation of grasslands in Southwest Wisconsin. As a contributing member and part of the steering committee, DALC hosts the Southern Driftless Grasslands Project Manager. The Project Manager’s role is to coordinate the SDG partnership by building capacity, facilitating regular communications with and among partners, and implementing focused initiatives. The Project Manager serves as a key liaison between conservation practitioners and landowners/land managers in the project area. See the full position description and instructions to apply on the Southern Driftless Grasslands website.

Land Management Specialist

DALC is adding a Land Management Specialist to our team! This position will lead land management efforts at our fee-title properties and along the Driftless Trail corridor, work closely with the Director of Conservation Programs to develop long-term management plans, and participate in annual conservation easement monitoring. This is a new position at DALC, and as such, there is exciting room for growth. Additional development opportunities for the Land Management Specialist include trail design and construction, volunteer leadership, and prescribed burn leadership.
