Join us in the field. Learn more about our public events.

All events are open to the public and open to participants of all ages unless indicated otherwise. Many of our events will take you to private land and will showcase well-managed, protected habitats of all kinds.

Driftless Area Land Conservancy believes the opportunities we offer should be available to anyone, regardless of ability to pay. We seldom require a fee. That said, we encourage you to support our outreach programs, if you are able, through a donation of $10 per person per session or an amount of your choosing. Thank you!

If you need assistance with the online registration process, please call our office at (608) 930-3252.

DALC Field Trips

Explore and learn throughout the Driftless landscape -- and bring the kids! Our general field programs are open to all. Grab some walking shoes and come outside with us!

These events focus on skills and methods, such as chainsaw safety, building trails, or planting prairies. Learn from regional experts on a variety of topics and prepare your arsenal of knowledge to tackle conservation projects big and small.
