About the event

Frogs and toads play key roles in the ecology of aquatic areas, and fluctuations in their populations tell us a lot about what is going on in the environment. Learn about these fascinating amphibians, ID their calls, and hear how you can conduct an annual frog and toad phenology survey at a wetland near you.

Leaders: Mike Mossman & Lisa Hartman

Evenings Afield is a program of the Lowery Creek Watershed Initiative. One evening per month, we set aside time for learning in the field from experts and each other, socializing with like-minded landowners and residents, and seeing results of management methods on different properties.
